The Mosaist

The Mosaist is a French crypto street artist born in 1987.

Since 2022, he has been laying mosaics in the streets of Paris on the

Cryptopunk and Retrogamming themes. Its singularity: the insertion of its mosaics in the blockchain, thus creating an eternal digital Ghost of its works, contrasting with the ephemeral life of Street art.

His History Passionate about Street Art, Retrogamming and Web3, The Mosaist created his first mosaics in 2018.

In February 2022, he installed his first Cryptopunk mosaics in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The Mosaist time stamps each Street Art pose by associating an NFT representing the mosaic and the location of the pose on a map of Paris. From then on, he connects space and time in a unique medium and brings a 'Proof of existence' to his works. It is also a new proposition made to collectors, that of 'owning' a work of Street Art via this digital Ghost.

Since June 2023, The Mosaist has been framing some of his works, and exhibiting at the NFT Factory and IHAM Gallery. He performs his first solo 'Cryptopunk Minority' at the H.D Gallery.
