Biography
2Fast is a Croatian artist born in Zagreb, where he grew up in the heart of a thriving cultural scene. Drawn to drawing and visual creation from an early age, he trained in applied arts and design, disciplines that still nourish his keen sense of composition and color today. He began his career as a graphic designer and illustrator, exploring the codes of visual communication before turning to a freer and more instinctive mode of expression: graffiti.
In 1988, he discovered the power of this practice and permanently adopted the pseudonym 2Fast. This name, which evokes speed and energy, became the signature of an artist driven by movement, audacity, and the desire to leave a mark on the urban space. A true pioneer of graffiti in Croatia, he contributed to the emergence of a dynamic and inspired local scene, mixing European influences and street culture.
Over the years, 2Fast has developed a distinctive style: striking shapes, a confident visual humor, and a constant search for a balance between spontaneity and mastery. His works reflect a fascination with three-dimensionality, perception, and the repurposing of everyday objects—themes he also explores in his sculptures and installations.
Represented in numerous national and international exhibitions, he has established himself as a major figure in contemporary Croatian street art. His work now extends beyond the walls to the gallery space, while retaining the raw, direct energy that has shaped his artistic identity.
