Presentation
“I have been drawing and painting since the age of 11. I make numerous sketches and use these notebooks for my paintings, a synthetic painting in a prismatic spirit"
“I'm very colorist, a little tawny. I mainly paint landscapes, nudes, but often in curved lines, it's a bit expressionist," says Philippe Hédouin. In his sixties, this passionate painter has already seen the country. Originally from Etretat in Normandy, he was a drawing teacher in Limoges and Toulouse, visited more than a hundred painting museums in Paris and throughout France, and never misses an opportunity to participate in a painting competition. .Even if he has already won an award, the painter is not aiming for competition: “Above all, it allows you to meet new people and new landscapes. I discovered the entire South-West like that. I remember pretty little villages in Corrèze or the carnival in Nice. (Le Télégramme, July 2011)
