Martha Rodriguez

Martha Rodriguez is a French-Venezuelan artist born in Caracas in 1956 and living in Nogent-sur-Marne for almost forty years. A graphic designer by training, she is a versatile artist who practices painting, sculpture, engraving and installation.
Always in artistic quest, Martha questions transparency, emptiness and volume by playing with dimensions and different techniques.
Glass, canvas, wood, metal or even paper, she reveals herself to be a true explorer of materials, shapes and emotions. She continues this research through several series of works showing the sublime simplicity of curves and vibrations.
Martha Rodriguez participates in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, exhibitions, fairs and biennials in France, Venezuela, the United States, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, Hungary, etc.
