aquagravure Print for Sale

Aquagravure combines a carved matrix and handmade paper production in a single step. The artist sculpts or engraves a design into a base such as wood, wax, or metal, then applies wet paper pulp into the mold. Pigments may be added before pressing, integrating color and texture during creation. Once dried, the image emerges in relief, giving the work a tactile quality and unique visual depth.
