Description
Terrace with Sea View captures the effortless beauty of a peaceful coastal morning. Open shutters frame a brilliant view of the sea, while flowering plants, tropical greenery, and colourful furniture create an inviting terrace filled with light and warmth. The composition blurs the boundary between interior and exterior, drawing the viewer toward the endless blue horizon.
Created in expressive oil pastel on paper, the artwork combines rich texture with bold colour inspired by Fauvist painting and contemporary interiors. Soft pinks, turquoise blues, fresh greens, and sunny yellows create a luminous palette that celebrates the joy of Mediterranean living and the simple pleasure of spending time outdoors.
The drawing evokes the feeling of opening the shutters to fresh sea air, warm sunshine, and the promise of a slow summer day. It is a vibrant contemporary artwork that brings colour, tranquillity, and the atmosphere of an endless holiday into any interior.
