Description
Pink Painting (Building No.8) is by German artist Doris Marten.
Doris Marten investigates how colors are perceived and how they influence each other through the simple use of lines. The lines highlight each color individually and vividly describe how one color influences another. The artist has acquired a deep understanding of color, which enables her to produce optical illusions, impressions based on movement and intense variations of light. She considers time to be a genuine production material, essential to the evolution of the artwork throughout the artistic process.
