Description
This abstract artwork is a dynamic tapestry of color and texture, exuding a sense of energy and movement. The composition is dominated by cool greys and blues, interspersed with bursts of vibrant reds, yellows, and greens. Thick, expressive brushstrokes create a rich surface texture, conveying depth and complexity. The interplay of geometric shapes, including rectangles and organic forms, adds a structural balance to the composition. Notably, areas of negative space provide a visual respite, enhancing the dramatic contrast between the vibrant colors and muted tones. The artist's technique of layering paint produces a multifaceted surface that invites close inspection, revealing hidden nuances and details. This piece captivates with its bold, emotive presence, showcasing the artist's mastery of abstract expression and ability to evoke a visceral response through its intricate, layered design.
Presentation
"I try to convey emotions through colors and shapes without resorting to the representation of reality. Art becomes art when emotion is reached."
Aude de Voc is a self-taught contemporary painter born in 1978 in Lyon. After years in property management, she chooses to return to painting.
Eager to transform, confront and mix materials, her work is essentially based on acrylic paint, to which she adds material whether it be superimpositions or a layer of transparency. His work questions, but never leaves you indifferent. Painting gives him the freedom to express himself without any limits. The strength of colors is its signature. His mode of inspiration is linked to lyrical abstraction. Many trips and great encounters further afield, Voc paints with passion. A cheerful and luminous approach to colors, aptly associating luminous acrylic shades. She tries to create a visual harmony that matches the emotion felt when she paints. His works are a true ode to life.
