Description
This painting by FANO, inspired by pop art, features Mickey and Minnie in a composition full of love and symbols.
First of all, the background shows the codes of an American Express card. We find the graphic details associated with luxury and consumption. This choice immediately gives a symbolic meaning to the work. Then, in the center of the canvas, Mickey and Minnie appear side by side. They look at each other with tenderness, as if they were sharing a unique moment. Their complicity is evident.
Moreover, a large red heart surrounds them. It occupies an important place in the composition. Therefore, it immediately draws the viewer's attention. This heart acts as a jewel case, highlighting their bond. Indeed, this contrast between sincere love and commercial background is central to the artist's message. FANO opposes here the authenticity of sentiment to the coldness of economic symbols.
Moreover, the colors are vibrant. The red of the heart stands out strongly against the background, while the characters remain in classic tones. This creates a beautiful visual balance. Thus, FANO once again plays with popular icons. He transforms Mickey and Minnie into symbols of universal love, but inserted in a world dominated by luxury.
On the other hand, the work remains joyful, accessible and full of humor. The pop art style reinforces this playful side while carrying a deeper message.
Unique work, available immediately at the gallery.

Presentation
Stéphan Ouzilou, called Fano, always lived his life in the fast lane. His strength lies in the thought: « Embrace life to the fullest « !
At the age of 17, he meets the love of his life and they leave together to the Antilles where they will stay three years.
Three years which are going to confirm his artistic fiber and undeniable talent.
Indeed, out of nothing, he quickly finds himself at the head of a fashion empire in the textile industry, after having created the “trapeze dress" fitting all morphologies. Between Paris and the Antilles island, he chooses to stay in the front line by designing all store-front windows of the boutiques he opens, himself, showing his unending uncontrollable taste for creation. (He was the precursor of the avant-gardist articulated wooden shop mannequin.)
It is important to say that Fano grew up in the fashion industry, surrounded by big names such as Gérard Darel.
