Description
In “The Nervous system of nature", combines oil painting and embroidery, creating a hybrid surface where the organic and the handcrafted merge into a single living texture. Executed in oil on canvas with hand-stitched details, the work explores the materiality of growth and the tactile presence of nature.
The theme of tomato blossoms is more than a depiction of a plant's life stage — it becomes a metaphor for fertility, invisible labor, and the cyclical rhythm of life. Through layers of green and yellow hues, shifting from delicate to saturated tones, the artist constructs a meditative space where light itself seems to breathe within the matter.
The work speaks about the fragility of ecosystems and the beauty of the ordinary, about the connection between human care and natural vitality. Embroidered elements resemble the nervous system of nature — fragile yet resilient. At the center of the composition lies a moment of potential, when life is about to unfold — the quiet power of becoming.
