Original painting from our collection
This vibrant artwork captures a still life scene with a dynamic and textured approach. Dominated by a large melon on a plate, the artist uses bold brushstrokes and a rich palette of yellows, purples, and earth tones. Surrounding the central melon, slices are arranged meticulously, suggesting a moment of casual dining or preparation. Smaller rounded fruits punctuate the composition, adding depth and balance. The contrasting background enhances the foreground, drawing attention to the interplay of colors and light. The knife positioned to the side introduces a sense of action and anticipation. This piece uniquely blends impressionistic techniques with a modern flair, creating an engaging visual narrative full of vitality and texture. The juxtaposition of colors and strategic placement of objects invites viewers to explore the harmony and movement within a seemingly simple subject.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
