Description
Kork 186
Oil painting Church of St. Nicholas Vasily Korkishko is a serene architectural landscape that reflects the refined mastery of Ukrainian painter Vasily Korkishko. The artist delicately portrays a white Orthodox church crowned with a golden dome, rising gracefully above lush green trees under a luminous blue sky. Through soft brushwork and subtle oil layering, Korkishko creates a gentle atmospheric depth and harmonious color balance. The contrast between the radiant white walls and the surrounding foliage enhances the spiritual calm of the scene. Precise detailing of architectural elements and light transitions demonstrates professional craftsmanship and artistic sensitivity. This original oil painting embodies tranquility, faith, and timeless beauty, making it an excellent choice for collectors of religious art and classical landscape painting.
Presentation
Korkishko Vasily was born in 1961 in the village of Kuntsevo, Poltava region, but has been living in Dnepropetrovsk for many years
. After the Kharkov art school in 1985 he graduated from the Kharkov art-industrial institute. 5 years later, after participating in republican and all-Union exhibitions in Kharkov, Kiev, Moscow, Korkishko became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, although this was then approved in Moscow by the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Landscape occupies a significant place in the work of V. Korkishko. The landscapes express the artist's special reverent feeling before nature. He is attracted to itself, at times, by its barely perceptible states, which each time give the landscape new content. His landscapes are lyrical, they touch the heart and the poetic motives, and the heartfelt color scheme. The movement of the soul is felt in each of his works.
Since the mid-1990s, Vasily Anatolyevich has become a participant in numerous all-Ukrainian and international expositions:
1995 - International Biennale of Ukrainian Art "Pan-Ukraine" (Dnepropetrovsk); 2000 - International Art Festival in Kiev;
2003 - International plein air of artists "Stubichke Toplis" (Croatia); - exhibition "40 names" in Dnepropetrovsk;
