Description
This captivating work depicts a figure seated on a rock, contemplating a vibrant and dynamic landscape. The background is composed of hills in shades of orange and sand, evoking a soothing and warm atmosphere. The sky blends with a profusion of multicolored dots, seemingly taking flight and dispersing into the air, creating a harmonious and ethereal movement. These floating particles add a dreamlike dimension to the scene, perhaps symbolizing fleeting thoughts or memories. The balance between the human figure and the vast natural space amplifies the feeling of connection and meditation. The vivid colors and pointillist technique lend the whole a rich texture and impressive visual depth. This painting perfectly captures the essence of dreaming and inner reflection.
Presentation
Self-taught French painter, trained in various courses and workshops but also at the School of Fine Arts in Narbonne, Christine Desplanque draws her inspiration from currents as varied as Impressionism, Intuitism and Resilience Art.
His bright and colorful paintings are an ode to nature: they do not seek to describe it or to represent it, but rather to allow each sensibility to walk there, as one wanders in oneself.
The book "Reminiscences" by Christine Desplanque and Rémi Grassart was published in 2022 by Humbird and Curley, presenting part of her artistic universe. She receives the public prize at the 8th International Salon of Resilience Art.
For the past few years, Christine Desplanque has been holding exhibitions in her region, in Paris, and one is planned for London in July 2023.
