Description
This abstract composition plays on a rigorous balance. The eye first encounters a dark, dense block. This matte surface occupies the majority of the space. It brings a silent depth to the whole.
A vertical yellow band comes to break this monotony. Its luminosity creates a sharp and cutting contrast. It acts as a source of natural light in the center of the frame.
The right side closes with a gray shade. This subtle gradient brings a soft transition towards the edge of the frame. The whole rests on a precise geometric structure. The work in acrylic and mixed techniques allows for sharp flat areas.
The canvas, made in 192, explores the tension between the colored masses. Verticality dominates the visual reading. It guides the eye upwards in an ascending movement. The final rendering emphasizes a search for stability and chromatic fracture. The pigments are organized into three distinct zones on the canvas.
