Description
An abstract composition of great sobriety. The gaze fixes on a vertical line, a tender green line of light that crosses the canvas. This luminous trace cleaves a deep brown background, almost organic.
The work with color creates a striking contrast. The earthy shade brings a reassuring stability. The line, for its part, seems to float, bringing a sensation of lightness and verticality.
The application of acrylic on the canvas reveals a precise gesture. The density of the background emphasizes the finesse of the central line. The whole exudes an atmosphere of calm and contemplation.
This painting, created in 2019, explores the balance between shadow and clarity. The visual rendering relies on an economy of means to reinforce the impact of the subject.
The textured surface of the support lets the material show through. The work is composed of a single chromatic band rising on a monochrome background.
