Original painting from our collection
This artwork presents a serene winter landscape, capturing a quiet, reflective pond surrounded by a cluster of leafless trees. The cold elegance of the scene is portrayed with remarkable textural detail, where the interplay of light and shadows suggests a late afternoon setting. Subtle hues of blue, gray, and brown dominate, punctuated by the remnants of snow on the ground. The trees, with their intricate branches, seem to cradle the water, while delicate brushstrokes convey the gentle ripple of the pond's surface. The artist employs a skillful blend of impressionistic techniques, creating a sense of depth and movement. The horizon softly merges into a distant sky, lending an air of infinite calmness to the composition. This painting uniquely captures the tranquil beauty of a fleeting winter moment, inviting the viewer into its contemplative space.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
