Description
This 1m x 1m painting is an ode to life. I'm working on repainting all the restrictions imposed on us by the government. Every morning, they come up with a new idea that curtails freedom of expression and other things. I admit that the idea of taking away our driver's licenses at 80 made me roar with anger. How can we live without that? That's how this canvas was born. No longer living under constant restrictions, and suddenly experiencing the freedom to do, to act, to speak, to express ourselves. So my little guys grab their skateboards and finally let loose, jump, leap, and shout their desire to exist in peace and freedom.
Presentation
Her work falls within a contemporary narrative trompe-l'œil, where everyday objects, faux materials, and miniature figures compose poetic and symbolic scenes. At the age of 16, she studied under Salvador Dalí, a formative experience that profoundly influenced her artistic approach and nurtured a unique, demanding, and deeply narrative universe, exploring human emotions and the tensions of our time.
