Description
Four sculptural acrylic and resin reliefs designed as a single body of work. In each piece, silver organic forms — crystalline, root-like, alive — emerge from total darkness, drawn toward a suspended circle of light: a moon, an eclipse, a void. Together, the four works trace a visual meditation on the relationship between matter and light, between growth and gravity. Each relief is built through a multi-day, multi-stage layering process in the artist's studio — metallic pigments applied by hand on museum-grade canvas, building depth, texture, and inner luminosity. The series is sold exclusively as a complete set of four. Each work is signed recto and verso with a handwritten inscription. Certificates of authenticity included. Lifetime after-sales guarantee. Delivered in premium USBoxes.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
