Description
The geometric approach is imposed here with rigorous precision. The eye is immediately captured by a play of nested shapes. Triangles and polygons assemble to create an illusion of depth. The composition plays on repetition and symmetry.
The palette focuses on shades of red and pink. This chromatic choice brings immediate warmth to the canvas. Subtle contrasts highlight the edges and structure the space.
The influence of abstract art and masters of geometry is manifest. The line is sharp. The visual balance rests on a mathematical organization of the plane. The canvas becomes a field of experimentation where color defines the volume.
The textile support reveals a light grain. This organic texture contrasts with the rigor of the drawn lines. The whole forms a closed architectural pattern on a saturated red background.
Presentation
Fadieses has always enjoyed drawing, but Life decided to make him go through the position of surveyor operator first. It was in his fifties that he chose to realize his childhood dream by settling down as a painter, thanks in part to the drastic restrictions due to Covid 19.
“He does Contemporary and Abstract to let people's sensitivity relate to Figurative" As Fadiese is curious, he tried different techniques: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Illumination, Calligraphy, Marbling. These main influences are Vasarely, Duchamp, Mondrian, Klimt, Léger. He specialized in regular geometry, using only primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. On all supports: Plastic, Wood, Recycled Metal, Canvas, Cardboard etc…
One last thing: when he did his military service
(contingent 87/12), a music lover colleague nicknamed him Fadiese, and if like him, you haven't found out why, it turns out that it is the note closest to Sol! He found his strong, very nice humor and adopted this creative nickname…
