Description
A haunting gaze anchors this vertical composition. The artwork blends surrealism with raw emotional intensity. A colossal face emerges from a weathered surface. It seems to merge with a desolate road stretching toward a golden horizon. The perspective shifts seamlessly from a human portrait to a vanishing point.
Drips of dark pigment run down the canvas like tears or rain. These streaks create a sense of erosion and passage. Faint blue circles float across the image. They add a cryptic, geometric layer to the organic forms. The color palette remains earthy and muted. Warm ochre tones at the top contrast with the deep browns and grays of the foreground.
At the base, bold white lettering anchors the scene. The Spanish text introduces a contemplative element regarding time and hope. The brushwork is visceral and layered. It suggests a struggle between memory and oblivion. The composition forces a confrontation between the viewer and the subject. Every line emphasizes a feeling of longing. The piece concludes with the stark contrast of the white typography against a dark, bleeding background.

Eclectic and multidisciplinary artist from Menorca.
The body, in its broadest sense, is the driving force behind her artistic search and development. From various perspectives, she seeks a dialogue between the artwork and the viewer, inviting reflection. Her work addresses both social and intimate aspects of womanhood, human attitudes and events, and the marks they leave behind—marks that should be questioned. These are recorded signs that remain after what has occurred, offering evidence of a CONTINUOUS PRESENT which, through the wear of time, use and disuse, act as clues that tell lived stories…
She earned her degree, two postgraduate diplomas in Descriptive Geometry, and a PhD from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona with the thesis , where she was selected by Àlex Mitrani to be promoted as an emerging artist of her graduating class. She participated in an Erasmus exchange at the Faculty of Bologna. She received a European “Artogether" grant from , which included a two-month residency in Istanbul and a traveling exhibition across Europe. She has held around twelve solo exhibitions in Printmaking, Painting, and Drawing, and has participated in group shows in various countries.
