Description
A frozen expanse unfolds under a mauve sky. The gaze first sweeps over a polar landscape. Blocks of ice float on dark, still water. Then, the illusion occurs. Mineral shapes draw a sleeping female face. The reliefs of the ice floe become delicate features. The immaculate white and the bluish shadows sculpt a serene profile.
The artist uses pareidolia here to blur the line between nature and human figure. Surrealism guides the brush. A red sun, like a perfect disk, rests on the horizon. This sphere brings a striking chromatic contrast with the coldness of the setting.
The oil technique allows for a precise rendering of textures. The light glides over the frozen surfaces. The whole composes a dreamlike scene where feminine beauty merges with the purity of the ice. This painting dated 2026 invites attentive observation to reveal the hidden secret in the landscape.
Presentation
Art, for me, is an inner journey and shouldn't simply stop at the boundaries of realism, but rather cross that barrier and plunge us into the very heart of the imagination, of surrealism. We must appeal to the imagination, the impossible, the unreal through the phenomenon of pareidolia in order to captivate the viewer's attention. By employing pareidolia, or the art of seeing something else, a cognitive phenomenon combining the interplay of shapes, shadows, and light, Saâdi creates a kind of optical illusion that leads the viewer to linger over his canvases in order to understand what lies hidden within. Using pareidolia as an artistic and poetic tool, Saâdi draws us into his artistic universe where landscapes and figures intertwine. Surrealism remains his central theme, where feminine beauty echoes the beauty of nature.
