A glamorous woman in a wide-brimmed, flower-crowned hat lounges in a dreamlike café interior, her form glowing in molten gold, amber and crimson. Dotted brushwork, gold accents and thick sculpted texture make the surface shimmer, while black lace trims her gown and a mosaic floor of jewel-toned tiles anchors the scene. On a small table nearby, wine glasses and ripe fruit suggest a quiet, elegant moment. Every detail, from the gilded crosses to the swirling ironwork, invites the eye to wander. Ruzanna Melqumyan blends cubist geometry, pointillism and decorative fantasy into a vibrant, expressive portrait full of mystery, femininity and warmth.
