Candy Christmas | Turquoise Gummy Bear Peppermint Pop Art, 2026

Julia Mauri

A turquoise gummy bear sits in the middle of a red-and-white peppermint swirl, transforming familiar Christmas candy into a bold contemporary pop image. The circular format immediately recalls a giant festive sweet, while the glossy bear adds a playful turquoise accent to the classic crimson-and-white palette.

The artist draws on childhood treats, candy culture, and Christmas nostalgia. Instead of relying on conventional holiday imagery, the artwork creates its festive mood through sweets, color, and recognition. The gummy bear becomes a small childhood artifact enlarged into the main character of the composition — cheerful, familiar, and slightly mischievous.

The clean graphic structure and saturated palette give the work a strong decorative presence while keeping its mood light and accessible. It can bring humor and color to a contemporary living room, kitchen, creative space, children's room, or playful commercial interior.

For collectors who enjoy Pop-inspired imagery and nostalgic objects, the artwork offers a lively balance of childhood memory and contemporary design. It would also make an engaging gift for someone who loves Christmas, sweets, bright color, or playful modern art.
