Description
An interior scene captures a moment of absolute calm.
The subject surrenders to reading, nestled in a sofa with geometric patterns.
The acrylic is deployed here frankly.
Broad and spontaneous touches structure the space.
The light, diffused by an angled lamp, gently illuminates the reading corner.
A play of contrasts opposes the deep blue of the garment to the warm tones of the red curtain.
The gaze slides towards the window where the twilight of evening settles.
The composition favors an intimate and serene atmosphere.
The pictorial execution emphasizes the simplicity of everyday life.
The floor, treated with shades of green and gray, anchors the scene in a domestic reality.
The whole rests on a balance between the precision of forms and the freedom of the gesture.
