Description
Where the Storm Meets the Shore (2026) is an original large abstract seascape painting in deep blue, warm brown, and luminous ivory tones.
I created this painting inspired by the moment when a storm begins to pass over the sea. A narrow band of light appears between the dramatic sky and dark waters, suggesting a quiet transition from turbulence to calm.
Using acrylic paint, palette knives, and expressive layering techniques, I built rich textures and fluid details that capture the movement of water and the shifting atmosphere. Deep indigo, charcoal grey, and midnight blue contrast with earthy browns, copper ochre, and soft beige, creating both visual intensity and warmth.
For me, this artwork is about the beauty of change and the sense of possibility that emerges after a storm.
Original acrylic on canvas, 2026. Size: 110 × 80 cm (43.3 × 31.5 in). Unstretched, shipped rolled. Signed on the front. Certificate of Authenticity included.
