Juan Pablo Castro

The artist's photographs capture the transformation of everyday life into another reality. Images that explore what the future will be like. Industrial, eccentric and progressive, Castro's vision is a combination of different influences that translate into deconstructed images. Castro has surrounded himself with art, inspiration and creative sources that have enriched his work and the way he perceives the world around him.

Juan Pablo’s visual journey is quite unique. His body of work explores new vanguards and the boundaries of his imagination. Bold images taken from his particular world give us expert photographs and videos where fashion, color and expression collide.

This artwork, featuring a striking vertical perspective, presents the art deco-inspired facade of a building adorned with the word "TROPICS" in vibrant, neon-blue letters. The minimalist composition directs the viewer's focus upward, accentuating the contrasting interplay between the smooth, off-white wall and the vivid azure sky. This juxtaposition highlights the linear elegance and geometric purity of the structure, while the sleek, stylized typography evokes a nostalgic yet timeless ambiance. The image captures the essence of mid-20th-century design, reflecting an era of bold architecture and exuberant graphic design. The absence of any distractions ensures the eye is drawn solely to the harmonious blend of colors and shapes, making this piece a captivating study in architectural beauty and nostalgic charm.
