Description
Wenda Parkinson On An Ostrich
Wenda Parkinson sits atop an ostrich while wearing knee-buttoned jeans and a loose cotton shirt by Spectator Sports as part of a British Vogue photoshoot in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. The model first met photographer Norman Parkinson when she was appearing as an actress at The Arts Theatre Club. Parkinson photographed her for the first time in 1947 and after four years as a couple, the two married in 1951.
