Description
This acrylic painting captures a suspended moment of life. A man stands, wearing a white shirt and striped trousers. His posture is relaxed. The brushwork is frank, almost nervous. The black outlines highlight the silhouette with precision.
The face remains suggestive, treated with touches of blue and red. This stylistic choice invites reflection on identity. At his feet, a small dog completes the scene. The animal brings a tender and familiar dimension to the portrait.
The neutral background, in beige tones, highlights the chromatic contrasts. The artist favors a modern figurative approach. The composition plays on a balance between simplicity and psychological depth.
Realized in 2026, this canvas is part of a constant exploration of the human and their daily life. The shadow, in a dark purple, anchors the subject in space. The gaze moves freely between the rigidity of the tie and the spontaneity of the gesture. Each brushstroke reveals a rigorous technical mastery. The whole exudes a discreet serenity.
