The work draws its inspiration from the pictorial aesthetic of David Hockney, particularly in his bold perspectives, luminous colors, and sun-drenched compositions. The intense blue of the Porsche contrasts with the dusty rose, mint green, and autumnal orange tones, evoking a reinvented French Riviera, between Mediterranean softness and Californian modernity. Through this contemporary creation, SKE elegantly subverts the codes of Pop Art, comics, and automotive culture. A composition where nostalgia, design, and contemporary art meet in a unique balance. SKE is a self-taught, all-around French artist who was immersed in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting , collage , stenciling , graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, combine the raw energy of street art and the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE's popularity has risen remarkably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
