Description
This sculpture embodies timeless elegance, depicting a seated female figure, meticulously sculpted from Gech 30 patinated clay fired at 1240°C. The work captivates with its fluid lines and the woman's graceful posture, which appears both relaxed and majestic. Set upon a solid base that contrasts with the figure's delicacy, the sculpture evokes a harmonious balance between strength and fragility. The meticulous details, such as the texture of the material and the fineness of the features, add remarkable depth, inviting prolonged contemplation. Light accentuates the curves and angles, creating subtle shadows that underscore the serenity and complexity of the work. This piece is a clear homage to the beauty of the human form, blending tradition and modernity with surprising ease.
Presentation
Elisabeth and Régis
Four-handed sculptures
From clay, I imagine, I shape my creation: "the woman". During this particular exchange a dialogue is established between the earth and me, a form will come to life which will find its expression through my hands.
Régis, for his part, will ensure its durability through very gradual cooking that will protect the integrity of the clay. A patina will give it a light make-up, like a woman would make herself beautiful.
This is how our sandstone and bronze sculptures are made by four hands.
Passion that we love to share.
