Description
«NIKA»
2025
325х140х140cm
Stainless steel, electric welding
edition of 5
350kg
In creating this work I was inspired by the statue of Nika of Samothrace, which is a heritage of ancient art. It was carved out of stone in honor of the victory goddess Nika and symbolized an unstoppable movement forward. I was attracted by the combination of femininity, lightness and at the same time a feeling of confidence, monumentalism in her figure.
Creating my Nika, I decided to reproduce the eternal image of a woman, inspiring the world to accomplishments and victories. Working on the image, I added dynamics to the figure and tried to recreate the color inherent in ancient mythology.
The sculpture is produced in a limited edition of 5. Each is made using electric welding and has its own unique, exclusive texture of the fused metal.
The sculpture can be disassembled into two parts for transportation.
