Description
A striking sculpture blends primate anatomy with surrealist imagination. The figure sits in a meditative pose atop a rugged white base. Its skin adopts a vibrant sky-blue hue. Luminous white clouds drift across the torso and limbs. This celestial pattern creates a poetic contrast against the solid form. A black bowler hat adds a touch of urban absurdity. The character holds a bright green apple with gentle precision. This recurring symbol evokes themes of knowledge and temptation. Every surface reveals the tactile energy of the hand. The application of paint is bold and deliberate. The gaze remains serene and introspective. It is a playful exploration of nature and human artifice. The composition balances weight and lightness through its ethereal color palette. The artwork captures a moment of quiet contemplation. The vivid green of the fruit serves as the central chromatic focal point.
Presentation
He is an eclectic artist who has chosen painting among many artistic expressions. Passion was embraced in the 90s and transformed into a profession. His painting is expressed through a gesture made of experimentation with color and the "Dripping" technique with which he interprets the landscape (Informal). His artistic production, although characterized by a constant path of research, always remains faithful to naturalistic painting, even when the link with figuration is only hinted at.
An example of his recent artistic production. The landscape and nature are radically rethought and, although the compositional balance remains, the link with figuration is now only hinted at, to recall it, a celestial body, present in every work and which has always been a point of reference for creation.
Since 2019 he has been part of the Association "The Free Artists in Varese".The artist boasts important personal and collective exhibitions. His paintings are exhibited in galleries both in Italy and abroad.
