Description
This hybrid sculpture merges the organic and the mechanical. An ovoid shape dominates the composition. Its surface presents earthy tones, mixing moss green and burnt ochre. Gears and metal cogs are embedded in the material. These industrial elements suggest an ancient, almost fossilized machine.
The top of the piece accommodates glass capsules. Inside, small plant shoots seem preserved. This contrast highlights the fragility of life in the face of metal rigidity. Dark circular inserts evoke portholes or observing eyes.
The work of textures contrasts the porosity of the ceramic with the brilliance of the glass. The structure rests on a dark, minimalist base. The whole recalls a futuristic artifact or a modified biological specimen. Each technical detail revolves around a protective roundness. Light glides over the metallic reliefs and the transparent walls.

Since 2005, his workshop-boutique YLB Créations is located in the historic center of Pézenas, in Hérault.
