Daydream
The Daydream exhibition brings together two artists, Jean-Christophe Thorez (sculptor) and Clément Verdière (painter). Two distinct materials, two worlds, which intertwine in a play of reflections.
The naiads of Clément Verdière evolve in an aquatic universe in black and white, bathed in warm light. The moving material sculpts reality, and plunges us into a nebulous atmosphere, close to a waking dream. It is particularly in the flexibility of the curve, in the deformations of water and stainless steel that the two artists meet.
A series of works that reveals the ambivalence of matter.
