LUCIANO TORSI (the painter of the woods)
(Arezzo, November 27, 1937) is an Italian painter.
Born in Arezzo, he moved as a young man to the city of Livorno.
Self-taught, he was able to correct his mistakes by establishing himself professionally in the artistic field.
Enrolled in the yearbook of Tuscan painters, at the Centro Diffusione Arte in Florence, in "The 1960s in the Italian air" of Piacenza and in the Italian art market 1800-1900, cataloged in the dictionary of contemporary European painting Milan, quotations in Bolaffi 1973 n .8 and Bolaffi 1978 n.11.
The "painter of the woods" as Torsi has been defined, portrays Tuscan landscapes, woods, streams, flowery meadows full of light and color.
He has held personal exhibitions in various Italian and foreign cities.
