Poesia della vita quotidiana
La tradizione di rappresentare la vita quotidiana nell'arte risale al XVII secolo in Europa, quando gli artisti si allontanarono dalle raffigurazioni di reali, religione e figure classiche. Crearono quindi rappresentazioni della vita contemporanea e della gente comune, allora conosciute come “pittura di genere". Eliminando qualsiasi contenuto immaginario o idealizzato, i dipinti di genere erano ancorati alla realtà della vita moderna.
Da questo periodo, gli artisti hanno adottato il mondo contemporaneo come fonte essenziale di ispirazione artistica. Dalla fotografia alla pittura tramite disegno artistico, artisti di varie forme e stili cercano la bellezza della realtà presente e vissuta come principale fonte di ispirazione per le loro opere .
