Kai
Kai is a native angeleno artist. at the young age of 14, he pursued his passion and the streets of los angeles became his canvas. Four years later, he accepted an offer to study at california institute of the arts, the leading school in contemporary art, and l’ecole des beaux arts in paris. Kai is recognized for his ability to convey a powerful message through any medium. his unique style and social commentary continues to set him apart from other street artists, and has been featured on covers of newspapers and magazines worldwide.

Paul Insect
Paul Insect is a UK contemporary artist. Best known for his collective named ‘insect’ that started in 1996 he is a collage, portrait master when it comes to portraying the relationship between the visible and the invisible. His images are provoking and impressive covering the vast ranges; going to the extremes of sensitivity to strictness going from life itself to death. Insect also goes by the name of PINS. He had worked together with artist like Banksy at the Cans Festival, the Santa’s Ghetto project in Bethlehem, on the separation wall in Palestine and produced album artwork for DJ Shadow. The unique beauty of his Pop Culture portraits is more than just hand-painted faces, they contain a statement of significant segments of Popular Culture across the globe. He has amongst many, his solo Bullion exhibition at London’s Art gallery, Lazarides Gallery got really noticed probably because of his ability to play with these extremes but most probably because of his playful way of ‘speaking.’ His style developed throughout the years, yet his political criticism and desire to raise the awareness regarding our present stayed the same, thus the respect goes there.

Cranio
A blue Indian is the trademark of artist Cranio from Sao Paulo, representing the indigenous people from Brazil. His mediums are acrylic on canvas and spray paint on walls, but he also enjoys creating some variation by mixing the two in order to create spray paint on canvases. Cranio, which translates to ‘skull’ in Portuguese, is the pseudonym of Fabio de Oliveira Parnaiba who was born in 1982 and grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 1998 he began spray painting the walls of his hometown. With inspirations deriving from life, cartoons and legendary artist, Salvador Dali; his illustrious ‘moniker’ of sorts, is a native indigenous person of Brazil, painted in blue. Developed out of a representation for the indigenous peoples who have populated his native country, Cranio cites that the Indians find themselves in funny and curious situations, prompting thoughts of more contemporary issues such as consumerism, corruption and the environment.

Manola Valdes
Manolo Valdés, a painter, sculptor, and printmaker was born in 1942 in Valencia, Spain. He began his training as a painter at the age of 15, and in 1964 he studied at the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts in Valencis, Spain. He and his colleagues, Juan Antonia Toledo and Rafael Solbes founded Equpio Crónica, which was a Spanish manifestation of the Pop Art movement of the 1960s. Valdes exhibited as a part of Equipo Crónicas and several other expositions between 1965 and 1981. Valdés began his own career in New York City, where he was featured in more than 60 solo exhibitions.

Felix Treadwell
Born in Maidstone, England in 1992. In his painting he often uses fictional characters who perform everyday actions. Treadwell studied art at Camberwell College of Arts and later specialised in painting at the Royal College of Art, where he graduated in 2018. Over the last couple of years, Treadwell has been getting a lot of recognition and appreciation for the works depicting the semi-autobiographical character, Feelo. "It was just meant to be this protagonist which explores these worlds, but I think I worked it out that it is more meant to be me. It wasn't intentional but I think it kind of acts as me, but also acts like you, the viewer within the work. I feel like Feelo is more like an outsider entering this world in which you are, and exploring what you might not necessarily know you might encounter." Through the use of simple compositions, playful, non-threatening scenes, and the softness of the airbrush, along with pastel hues, the artist is reviving and visualizing his childhood imagination in his practice.

Martin Whatson
A continuous urge of finding beauty in the ugly seems to be Norwegian street artist Martin Whatson’s philosophy. He looks for inspiration in cities that often seem monotone, or in studying soon to be demolished buildings. Much like the man in his piece ‘Behind the Curtain’, Mr. Whatson is trying to pull back the grim-seeming urban facade to find the colour and cheer beneath the surface.

Sam Friedman
Sam Friedman is a contemporary American artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. His work incorporates landscape and abstract elements with bright colors and shapes. His work moves between representational and abstract depictions with seeming ease and spontaneity.

Greg Bogin
Greg Bogin is a Contemporary abstract artist who lives in New York and works in Brooklyn. Bogin’s brightly colored, shaped abstract works evoke a sense of joy, happiness and optimism with a touch of irony. He received a BFA from Cooper Union in New York in 1987. He has exhibited widely, mounting solo and group shows at Marlborough Contemporary, New York and London; Leo Koenig Inc., New York; Mary Boone Gallery, New York; Galerie Bruno Bischofberger, Zurich; Paolo Curti/Annamarie Gambuzzi & Co, Milan, Jablonka Galerie, Koln.

Super A
Stefan Thelen's anti-superhero identity Super A is a Dutch artist who uses traditional painting technique and a knack for design to create compositions that manipulate familiar iconography into mind-bending and inquisitive pieces. His alter-ego, Super A is the filter with which the life and observations of Stefan Thelen are distilled down and turn into inspiration. All of his work evolves out of personal experiences or thoughts that grow into concepts which tightrope between fiction and nonfiction. Super A is a mystery that leans on the art doing most of the talking for Stefan Thelen, taking the viewer into a wonderland walking down a yellow brick road in which Thelen's figurative and modern surrealist compositions are providing playful puzzles to decipher.

Pez
Legendary street artist Pez, “fish” in Spanish, started painting in 1999 on the outskirts of Barcelona. At first he used to write his signature, and soon it evolved into a fish. Searching for a universal language to communicate with walkers, he found the smile. One day he decided to paint a fish character with a great smile near his tag. El Pez was born! He’d found the huge smile a way to pass on good vibrations to the walkers on the streets.

Atomik
A 100 percent Miami artist. The graffiti legend, part of the infamous MSG crew, a group of local graffiti heroes, has been painting the city for quite some time. Famous for his iconic orange character which emerged as a response to the demolition of the Miami Orange Bowl ,the artist also marks the walls of Miami with his sleek hand-styles, graffiti and lettering. While painting for almost 20 years, Atomik’s playful characters and hand styles have become as much a symbol of Miami as are palm trees or neon lights. His unmistakable orange character has been placed all over the world bringing a piece of Miami to places such as Chile, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, England, Australia, Korea, and Thailand.

Art By Bankrupt
Also known as Bankrupt is a contemporary mixed-media artist from central Florida. He is known for his grandiose, vibrant, geometric pieces often featuring twisted depictions of hip hop artists, fashion, and iconic pop culture figures, such as “Hyped Marilyn”, “Jordan”, “Gucci Ghost Trooper”, and “Zombie Krusty”. The innovative, self-taught artist develops his unique pieces on wood, typically standing at 2-5 feet tall, but he never reveals his actual process or the specific materials used.

The exhibit will run through September 4, 2022 and is open for free public viewing. This is a family friendly event.
