Thomas Gromas was born in 1979 in Belgium. He lives and works in Dottenijs, Belgium. He is a self-taught artist who started to work independently in 2005.
Thomas Gromas translates emotions into images, texts, sculptures. His works reflect society, the images was imposed on us, the artificial lifestyle in which everything is mapped out and programmed, a fictional reality of ideal beauty, consumption, and luxury.
As all of these inspiration sources form the basis of his practice, each work orginates from different feelings and desires, so all pieces expose a certain intimacy and are very personal.
