Biography
Philippe Knoops, or Keone, is an artist who lives and works in Liege, Belgium. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Liege where he obtained a Masters Degree in plastic and applied arts, and finally turned to graphic design studies. He then started a career in the field of visual communication but after a decade decided to abandon everything and to dedicate solely to painting.
Keone is a versatile artist, who practices several sorts of art such as painting, photography, drawing, and serigraphy in order to transcribe his own vision of the world. Despite his combination of multiple techniques and materials, his work is homogeneous. Bright colors are very present in his creation, to which he adds a touch of dynamism and energy.
He has exhibited his work in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands since 2013.
