Biography
Jes is an artist with various supports and multiple mediums: between oil, watercolor, gouache and acrylic, his heart swings. His brushes have been an extension of his hand since the 1970s, when he began to devote a devouring passion for pictorial art.
Interior designer and furniture designer, he designs his frames himself, finishes his art with clean lines and deep and comforting colors. Through his profession, Jes attaches importance to harmony, a requirement that he places at the center of his artistic vision.
With multiple and traveling influences, the artist offers versatile subjects and styles, juggling figurative abstraction and inspiration from contemporary Fauvism, all with a touch of up-to-date cubism.
From here and elsewhere, Jes propels us into a world of his own, warm and coherent. Volumes and shapes are present, perspectives and proportions are essential.
