Biography
Born in 1958 and raised in a rural area near Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Carole Malcolm has been drawing and painting since she can remember.
Years after leaving her native country, she revisited the land of her childhood, this time as an artist and it became one of her biggest sources of inspirations. Her memories continued to influence her work even during the preparation process, she does sketching on-site and she gathers reference material, to finally finish her paintings in her atelier.
Of a Romantic influence, her work is closer to realism, recreating impressions and places resembling those of her childhood, where nature reigns or tree paintings.
