Mr While

Originally from Marseille where he lives and works, Laurent Giordano alias WILE, is one of those people who have always had an artistic flair and have continued to develop it. As a teenager, attracted by urban culture, he devoted himself enthusiastically to the practice of graffiti, "detaching himself from basic lettering to initiate new forms". Spontaneously, WILE chose to train in the skills of graphic arts in order to perfect his view and his practice, and after several years of apprenticeship, he obtained his diploma from the Ax Sud superior school in Marseille.

WILE began his career as an independent graphic designer and it was only a few years later that he felt the urge to put his ideas on the web. Just as passionate as he is enterprising, he works diligently to develop his pictorial language and then goes out to meet professionals in the art world and thus confront his practice with their critical eye.

Drawing most of his inspiration from emotions, WILE works from photographs found in magazines, on the web or taken on the spot by chance encounter, which he interprets using his black ink pens and his paint brushes. Resolutely dynamic and positive, WILE's painting is made up of emotions which, each in their own way, testify to the beauty of simple things.
