Presentation

Majéon is a painter whose work highlights the strength of living beings, their uniqueness in a poetic and subtle universe.

Navigating between two professional worlds that form her identity and build her career, she organizes her professional life between two identities: nurse, childcare worker by training, she has oriented her career towards support for parenthood. She is also a professional painter with a particular flair for drawing.

His work is constantly evolving and enriched by his encounters. She likes to test new supports in a free and dynamic approach. First introduced to drawing techniques and oil painting with Taka Uchiyama, Japanese painter, she attended the workshops of Nicole Chesny, painter and visual artist. Gradually, his artistic identity asserted itself around black and white and with ink. These colors oppose each other and create contrasts mixing emptiness with fullness. A binary vision, often enhanced with a touch of gold, a symbol of warmth and light, illuminating this complexity.

Using different media: paper, linen and creates murals, she explores materials (acrylic paint, aerosol cans, Indian ink). His work appeals to people from all walks of life, distant or not from the artistic field. Sensitive to the popularization of art, she brings it where it is not expected. She multiplies the places of intervention: popular district, medical environment, street art festival, she paints and sticks works in the city. You can find her in her studio or at the bend of a street.

Majéon's drawings and work explore eras without borders through a vegetable universe, elements borrowed from decorative art and urban architecture. She uses this world to translate emotions. The notions of attachments, links, transmissions are expressed through nature and botany that she likes to reinvent.

The female figure is very present: these women question the notion of generations, of place in society as well as in the family circle. They testify to profound changes and repercussions on the intimate construction of their being. Sensitive to the ties that unite individuals to the imperceptibility of emotions, Majéon explores social ties and the part of femininity in the environment.

“My work highlights the strength of living beings, the links that unite them to nature in a poetic and subtle universe. They are an invitation to travel in real and imaginary landscapes. My works are built around the trivial, the intimate and the universal.»M.C/ Majéon
