Biography

Born in 1970, Martine Coloos is self-taught. She began painting with her mother when she was only 4 years old. From an early age, she was influenced by these two great artists: Picasso and Jean-Michel Basquiat. It deals with the major subjects of our daily life by revealing a singular, rich and colorful imagination. Martine Coloos uses different mixed techniques, such as acrylic, chalk or collage.
In 2018, his meeting with Lionel Fibleuil, director of Galerie du Palais au Touquet who became his agent, opened the doors to several galleries in Paris and the provinces. Martine Coloos is on permanent exhibition at Galerie Billy in La Baule, Galerie Cortade art in Montauban.
Today we find her alongside Robert Combas , Bernard Buffet , Hervé Di Rosa and Peter Klasen , Erro, Kijno, Miotte…
