Presentation

Frédérique Barba is a French artist born in 1965.

Frédérique Barba draws inspiration through her emotions, experience, interior images which she then colors, in the same lines as Zao Wou-Ki, Gerhard Richter or Mark Rothko, and she openly calls them to be her inspiration.
In search of an elementary shape, the artist targets the imbalance in harmony. Her favorite medium is acrylic, she works with a knife and successive flat tints, which slowly take shape on canvas, portraying her emotions.
Frédérique Barba is mainly exhibited at the Open Art Gallery.
