Nitsa Meletopoulos first started working as a child, in her father's pottery workshop. Subsequently, graduating from the University of Montpellier in plastic arts and psychoanalysis then from the Avignon art school, she obtained her diploma in 2010 and developed work in sculpture and installation in situ. Following a residency in Leipzig, Germany, she began experimenting with ceramics. She spent four years in this city, where she worked for a ceramic factory while simultaneously co-managing the Franco-German cultural platform and artist residency, “Fugitive”. In 2018, she returned to France to strengthen her technical skills in the Maison de la Céramique in Dieulefit. Today it collaborates in particular with Galerie Fracas and Volume Ceramics in Brussels, Shebam in Leipzig, Moly Sabata or Galerie Tatiss in France, Kitte in Madrid and the design galleries Superhouse or Rhett Baruch in United States. In addition to her personal work, she founded the Duo Vertigo with Victor Alarçon. She currently lives and works in Burgundy.
