Biography
Born in 1954, Marc Giunta is a French painter and sculptor.
Passionate by the museums and galleries in his hometown, Bordeaux, he began painting at the age of 15. Influenced by the Street Art movement, he created in the late 70s, a photo report on stencils decorating the walls of France. This experience led him to experiment with stencil and aerosol in the early 80s. He developed an art, in which he gives priority to the material.
Since 2000, he has exhibited his sculptures and dedicates to sculpting in order to produce abstract works while incorporating symbols and spiritual elements. He creates a dialogue between man and nature through the use of natural materials.
His works are exhibited in many international galleries and have been purchased by private collectors and museums such as the Museum of Phoenix, Arizona and the Living Museum of the Horse in Chantilly.
