Naen

Naen's affection for the arts, and more particularly for painting, has always been strong. It was in the early 2000s that she decided to start a pictorial activity in parallel with her professional career in marketing and communication.

Relying on his Cartesian spirit on a daily basis for the exercise of his original profession, Naen on the contrary appeals to his intuition, to his spontaneity in the execution of his paintings. Equipped with brushes, knives, fabrics, or even his fingers, the artist proceeds by apposition and juxtaposition of powerfully colored pictorial layers, composed of acrylic paint associated with India ink, and sometimes enriched with leaves of 'gold and marble dust. This technique allows the painter to play with the effects of materials, light, transparencies and, thus, to reveal new nuances by subtracting others.

In 2012, Naen set up in the Var where she continued and developed her activity as a painter, at home, in her studio house in La Londe-les-Maures. Deeply touched by the work of the Chinese painter Zao Wou-Ki (1920-2013) the master of lyrical abstraction, she runs exhibitions to feed on the most diverse colors and shapes. Moreover Naen takes a very demanding look at his work, constantly seeking to achieve perfection, both in the harmony of colors and in the balance of the final composition. Thoughts "like dreams where everyone will see what they want to see", his abstract and untitled works offer the viewer the possibility of fully appropriating each canvas by projecting their own imagination on it.

Naen's work is now praised at numerous national and international exhibitions, notably in Russia, the United States, the Netherlands and even in Portugal.
