Biography
Tatiana Samoïlova, painter native of Saint Petersburg, has lived in Grenoble for more than 20 years.
A graduate in Russia from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, she obtained a DEA History of Art at the Pierre Mendès-France University in Grenoble.
Graphics and collage are his favorite techniques.
She has held around a hundred exhibitions in France and abroad: Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Holland, Poland, Bosnia, Romania, United States and Russia.
“Every time I decide to draw, I already have a story to tell. She is born, matures and then she needs to go out to live her life on paper. Often in the drawings, I try not to tell everything but to quantify certain things and let the viewer's imagination run wild. So in turn, everyone can invent their own story and become co-creator of the paintings ”.
