Renaud Bihi

After a self-taught career as a plant designer and interior designer, R. Bihi now devotes himself exclusively to artistic creation.

Fascinated by nature and its elements, he is constantly in search of the emotion that the materials they give him: industrial, mineral or vegetable.

His artistic work aims to sublimate materials by opposing them to each other: to ennoble the most ordinary and to seek the depth of the term for an unprecedented harmony beyond all artistic prejudices.

R. Bihi is an instinctive artist.

His works are all the fruit of the meeting of his emotions with an element, a material, and a color: black, and its multiple shades of which he likes to reveal the sparkling depth.

For this artist, black is everything except the color of sorrow and torment but well that of beauty and harmony because according to him black makes things clearer.

His sculptures are the reflection of his singular look at art: frozen with intense emotions but ephemeral.
